Who is this Mr Quin??Well we donot know the answer though we get a vague idea of what sort of personality he is..In this collection of short stories from Agatha Christie we meet this strange person who promts a Mr Satterthwhite to do certain deeds very neccessary to save certain lives..
Satterthwhite and few of his friends sit together during a rainy night and discuus the reasons that might have led to their friend to commit suicide..And enters Quin with his car broken..He joins the conversation and slowly prompts evryone with the bit the bit of infomation they know and in the end evrything becomes very clear..In each case Quin acts as a sort of catalyst for Mr Satterthwhite to take suitable action.Quin is a very shady character and we do not know about tthe character at all except that whenever he accidently bumps into Satterthwhite we realize he has got somehting up his sleeve..Mr Satterthwhite is an excellent judjer of people and because of his age he has gained enough experience to predict the sort of hings that people are going to do depending on the circimstances..The interaction between Mr Satterthwhite and Quin is very interesting though very vague..
Agatha Christie has done very well to keep the character of Quin in shadow though without him the story would have been rather messed up..Mr Satterthwhite is a affluent person with considerable amount of power because if his contacts..But he is a person who is not satisfied with power and money..He because of his excellent powers of reading peoples mind can not help but interfere in anothers life and more often than not he sets right their problem..Well this is a great book and this books gives you spooks when you read the book late into the night..And then you about this charater of Quin and fall into a peacful sleep..happy reading
