My wife got cheated bigtime by naaptol recently. As you all know these guys advertise a lot around in the print media and my mother once saw a deal on the roti maker with a casserole and atta maker. My wife had shopped online a lot on flipkart and jabong so assumed these guys to be same or similar in service.
However, she didn’t ask me before placing the order and had she done it we’d be far more better than we currently are. So as it goes, she placed an order for the roti maker deal and we were supposed to get the three in the deal. We got the stuff in a week but that was it for the smile of online shopping to turn into a grin.Point to note, naptol sells all cheap stuff cos they’re really of cheap quality.
You can buy better stuff from roadside hawkers and that will last longer than the naptol items. So as it was, the worst plastic is used to manufacture the casserole and the roti maker and hey the main item... viz. the roti maker was broken. One of the hinges which holds the top plate was clearly broken. So we called the naptol customer care and we were told first that ’you used and broke it’ to which our response was that we had this a few hours ago and we’re not dara singhs to pump our muscles on a roti maker.
After a long wait and negotiations a pickup was scheduled which was prompt and they took all the items back. We never heard from them after that. After several calls the same set of items were shipped back to us with the roti maker fixed with araldite.. yes. can you believe it.
These guys do not deserve to be in this business, so just ignore when you see any deal cos 99% you’d be cheated.
