I saw a very good deal on Instant camera in Naaptol, and the price is far cheaper than my usually shopping website. But as I never purchased anything yet from Naaptol, I decided to look on the review of the website here. And I saw lots and lots of negative reviews. After lots of thinking, including reading most of the reviews here and also calling the customer service of Naaptol, I decided to give a try. And to be on the safe side, I opted for Cash On Delivery on 8th August.
And I closely monitored my order status from day to day. And until yesterday, my order status is Cargo Ready, but the AWB no by bluedart was already provided by Naaptol. I checked on Bluedart tracking system and unsurprisingly, the AWB no is not in the system. So I called Naaptol yesterday to check on this matter. So they clarified to me that the product is not yet shipped but please expect it after 48 hours. I said okay.
So today I again checked my order status. And now it is ORDER CANCELLED! I was really furious and called the customer service for clarification. And she said there was problem with my home address, so they cancelled the order. I replied to her that Ive been using the same address in other shopping websites but they never do this to me. And cancellation without notice?? That just proved how bad they are!
So I learnt my lesson. Maybe this is better than receiving a defective product and have trouble with return and refund. And Im glad that I chose COD. I have nothing to lose. Now, Im placing my order of the same product with Flipkart. Although its a bit expensive, but I feel confident that I will get my order and a good product too.
