Nadigaiyar Thilagam is the Biopic of Legendary Actress "Savitri" Keerty suresh playing the role of savitri directed by Nag ashwin under the production of Vyjayanthi movies . find out if the expectations reached or not?
Plot: Film sets in 1980 Madhuravani( Samantha Akkineni) working as Journalist for Prajavani Newspaper. who is assigned the duty of covering Savitri(Keerty suresh) case. the actress who admitted in hospital in Critical condition. then she decided to write about what happend to this lengendary actress. rest of the story showcased in flash back .How Savitri became great actress? How she fell in love with Gemini ganeshan(Dulquer salman)? How her life ends in tragedic situation? How she lost her money and got addicted to Alcohol is the rest of the story.
Performance: Keerty suresh gets the role of a life time. she gives outstanding performance in the savitri role. keerty has everything right whether expressions, acting, emotions, sad. comedy .she has lived in the role of savitri. keerty has potrayed all the emotions parfectly . keerty performance in 2nd half was just Fantastic. it is a tough role for any actress to live in the charactar of savitry. who is considered as the everest of acting. Keerty suresh walked away with award winning performance. Dulquer salman is fantastic as Gemini ganeshan he gets the part perfectly well. Samantha as Madhuravani is excellent the way she emotes in climax shows how brilliant she is. Rajendra prasad gets a Terrifc role as Savitri’s Uncle . He is excellent and he brings a lot of depth to the film . Vijaydevarakonda is just average in his role. a part for them Nagachaitanya, mohan babu, krish does an adequate job.
Music: Music by Mickey j meyer is superb. though some songs are average .his background score lift the film to another level.
Cinematography: Cinematography is top class. cameramen dany sanchez-lopen should be given full credit.

to those who have read the biography of savitri. there are no surprises in this story. the director has revealed unknown incidents in savitri life. 1st half is quite entertaining as the growth of savitri as an actress.
and her love story with gemini ganeshan. has been showcased in intresting manner. in nadigaiyar thilagam
the documentary style visable at few times. savitri first scence as heroine come out well.
1st half the film is very good in 2nd half due to pathos the narration slows down a bit but emotions workout well.
despite some slow pace and melodrama it ends in terrific mode. Nadigaiyar thilagam is a perfect tribute to Great legendary actress savitri.that is told in a heart touching manner with outstanding performance from keerty suresh. every movie lover should watch this movie atleast once.
