Hey friend I have been to nainital recently and I just wanted to share my experiences which would be very useful for the Hill station Lovers:
What makes us Love Nainital:
Firstly the beauty of not only Nainital but the route or say approach to it is also so beautiful, adventurous and mind blossoming that on cant forget it at all.
The Climate of Nainital is ultimate I could say because there are many other hill stations which are beautiful too but with that beauty there are few thing which we don’t understand unless we personally visit them that is the climate for example if you take shimla it is also very beautiful but it is best suitable for young people or say the people with great immunity and excellent resistance power not suitable for the people whose resistance power is a bit low because there will be extreme cold which sometimes becomes un bearable for elderly persons but here in nainital it never happens the climate is moderate and best suitable for all age groups and even the people with low immunity power also can mach up and enjoy here.
And if we plan for this route there are many other options which can be explored at a very reasonable budget so if this route is take I will guide you how to plan and explore the beauty of india in a very smooth way.
If you are going from southern part of India then you would love exploring the Capital and the historical monuments there that is Delhi.and also you can have a halt at Agra also to see the Wonder Taj Mahal.then taking your journey forward you can reach Nainital from Delhi then when you are done with Nainital you can take a train to dehradoon which is also a superb, mind blowing journey to do there in you can explore local sight seeing in dehradun. And dont forget to go to Mussorie where you find the Ultimate Campty Waterfalls which is and example of beauty in itself.
And then once you are done with exploring the local beauty of Dehradun there are much more things to do:

There are few superb holy places to explore like Kaliyar Shareef(Roorkie) for Hazrat Saber Piya R.A. and Haridwar, Rishikesh etc.

Best time to see the real beauty would be from October to January most preferred would be December as if your luck favors you will b able to see the snow also in Nainital.
Dislike:
The only point of concern here would be the Taxi Driver/Guides so just be smart in dealing with them don’t commit or book the hotel they suggest you unless you see it personally rest all superb.
