I recently visited during weekend in March, honestly I wasnt expecting much from this place as I have visited most of hill areas.
But to my surprise its actually nice place u can viait over tje weekend in limited budget. Hotels there will fit into most peopl’s budget and you can enjoy good time.
There ate many places you can visit like Cave garden, zoo, himalay darshan, lovers point, tifin top etc they are all in Nainitaland situated in 10-15 KMs range. However you can also enjoy one or two day trip out side of Nainital like jim carbet , Ranikhet, Mukteshwar etc. You can get tour packages from local tours and travela however if you directly go to taxy stand you book taxy on a very less rent.
Boating is one of the attraction in Naini lake. Mall road shoping was also fun, I liked the candles.
Reaching Nanital is also very easy , if you are traveling from Delhi then you can travel via train as well just remember to get down at Haldwani and take taxy or bus from there to Nanital. Overall it was nice trip we enjoyed a lot.
