Naivedyam is a South Indian Restaurant having chains across Delhi NCR. We had chance to go Naivedyam located at Vipul Square, Sushant Lok Gurgaon. The restaurant is located on second floor and the ambience is quite eclectic. Except for small cons I felt the restaurant is a nice place to try south indian dishes. we were around 16 people who went to dine during May summer afternoon and the service was quite prompt. I did not like the seats much as they were pretty old and now need some repair another thing which I didn’t like was the their entrance door which linked their backdoor kitchen to the dine area. Their waiters would be frequently going and coming through that entrance and would carelessly keep the door open letting gust of hot air into the main dine area making the dining experience somewhat bad. These were the only issues which I found quite annoying. Their waiters were dressed in typical south indian attire giving the restaurant a complete south indian touch. I tried with Maharaja Dosa and it was quite a large dosa for me to eat and it was served with coconut chutney, sambhar and other chutneys, my other friends tried out uttapam, South Indian Thali, Rava Dosa, Paneer masala dosa and their experience with the taste was really good. It is also quite cheap and our total bill was around Rs 2500.If you are a foodie and would like to try out some south indian dishes I suggest you to give it a try. What’s more they give additional 15% discount on amex and axis credit card. Its a must go restaurant.
