I have been to Nandhini Palace next to Koramangala BDA complex quite a number of times. Though, I am basically from Andhra, I feel the food served here is the best and even better than that servered in Andhra Pradesh.
I am a vegetarian, and every time I go there, I end up ordering something new and believe me you need not doubt the taste if you cannot identify a cuisine by its name because anything in Nandhini tastes good. The Mushroom fried rice and gongura chutney at Nandhini are simply superb. The parathas and chapatis are also very good and specially the starters have no competition. Also, I never forget to order their speical ice-creams.
However, my husband is a non-vegetarian, and he feels Nadhini is a paradise for non-vegetarians. He never forgets to order Prawns fry at this place and mostly goes for the Chicken-curry meals or Mutton-curry meals. According to him, there is no place in Bangalore which serves such tasty non-vegetarian food. His first choice of a restaurant when we plan to eat out is Nandhini.
The ambience is good, but you have to wait for a long time to get a table during weekends. So, its better you book a table in advance by calling them. The service is good and though the pricing is on a higher end, the food taste and quality is worth the money.
