I had a problem with my battery and went to their service centre in Thalaghattapura. They said the problem is with the alternator and a overall has to be done costing 10000 Rs. A day later the service person called and said the battery is also dead and has to be replaced. I said that the battery is under warranty and they can replace it. He also said that the fuel filter is completely blocked and has to be replaced.
When I went to pick up the vehicle, I showed the battery warranty, but he said that the battery is fine and dont have to be replaced. I got suspicious at this time and asked them to show the fuel filter that they mentioned was replaced. Alas! they still have the old filter in there.
I am attaching the photo of their worksheet which clearly says that they have replaced the filter!
Now I got suspicious of the overall of the regulator work they did and asked for some proof of the work done. Surprise again, they dont have any record of the work done. They said that they sent it to an external vendor for service, but there is not a single paper work to show for it.
I guess this is how they make money. Toyota is a good vehicle, but the way they cheat people in service is horrible.
