As well as Mouthshut I think napster is one of the best sites on the Internet as well, as it could save you up to hundreds of pounds. Napster is a site where you can download any type of music you like. All you have to do is go to the search option and type in the song you would like. This would then download, but it depends how big the file is and how fast your modem is to get an idea of how long this would take to download. But it does have a column to tell you how long is left to download and how long that should take. You can download as many songs as you like at once but the more you try and download the longer each song will take to download. Napster have been I trouble lately, because of the amount of record companies who are complaining over the amount they lose due to people downloading there songs instead of going out and buying there singles. If in the chat room you meet someone who you get along with or if you just have a friend who is also registered to napster you can add these to your hot list which is a kind of msn, icq kind of thing, where it tells you when they are online or not. If you add someone to your hot list and they are online you can also see which songs they have downloaded and can download them from this certain persons computer to your computer. This is called uploading and this is how the whole napster works. If someone has a song that you like you find this person and the song you like and upload it from their computer to yours.
Once you have downloaded a song it would be put into you personal napster library, so you can come back to it as many times as you like. There is also a discover section where you can go and find out about new groups and the new music which has came onto napster and if you wish you can download it. This is a good way of keeping in contact with the music world.
