Natures Basket at Warden road aka Bhulabhai Desai Road at Mumbai opp Mahalakshmi temple, is a rip off. The vegetables are droopy and nothing to write home about. Still the price of veggies is not unreasonable although certainly not as low as in Big Bazaar.
The price of fruits is exorbitant as though to cater exclusively to foreigners, although ex patriates living in India are very market savvy and would never pay such prices. Wonder if the rich industrialists of the area pay such prices. They also have cakes costing Rs200 a slice!
And assorted imported food items at absolutely ridiculous prices. It is any day better to buy veggies and fruits from the local street vendors even though these are also more than at other markets. Check out counters also take so long for payment. Never again. Godrej was always known as the common persons company, but not where Natures Basket is concerned.
