I used this Job portal 7-8 months back when I was looking for a job change. I made a full profile adding every little detail of my past experiences, skills and education hoping. I added the sector in which I’m looking for a job but that’s not how their algorithm works, I think they just want to know your contact info and college and then show it to recruiters to call. I got some good calls but mostly it was irrelevant to my area of interest or past experience.
Many times I got a call from HR consultancies which I didn’t want from starting but I guess they help if you’re from a Tier 1 college, so when they call they ask you about certain skill that would be required in the profile they are looking for which they could easily see in your Naukri profile but no they will call you disturb you personally.
Another feature I didn’t liked on this platform was their after service or better to call when you got the job and now you don’t want your profile visible to recruiters anymore, so you’ll just do so in your profile but there’s no use of that, I have done this hundreds of time but still I got call from consultancies as well as mails.
