I had the mis-fortune of booking my first ar, a Wagon R from them in 2001. The sales woman was acting as though she was barely managing to tolerate. Lots of senseless delays later I was totally frustrated and sent them a letter saying I wanted to cancel my booking. That was the magic word. All of a sudden the red carpet was laid out. A senior manager took over my case. He apologized for the delay, doubled the amount of free accessories, scolded the staff in front of the me and begged me not to cancel.
Such childish behaviour was quite shocking. Considering that my finances were all approved andf that I would have to restart the process, I extracted a firm delivery date from the guiy and then only made the cancellation note "provisional".
The car was delivered on time.
I feel that these charlies cannot work in a professional manner and need to be treated like mules. Then only will you get the servie you require. Their service station is equally un-professional.
