What a Critics delight this movie is..gosh, they must be rubbing their hands in glee after viewing it...The ratings, (save for the critic of TOI who, methinks was bribed with Badshahs Royal Falooda during his/her preview of it) reflect the hopeless-ness of the film.
Coming to what I think; a very poor and fragile storyline which cannot hold the movie or the moviegoers interest, unconvincing characterisation;so very contrived, so many over the top situations (Come on, can you really get away by portraying all the canadian lasses as easy meat, waiting for a desi rouge ridden, pumped guy to thrust themselves upon?
A male haven called Whistler, which Im sure would be the next destination (rather, Shangri-La) for our virile Indian NRI/Desis the world over (get serious Mr. Sabhlok!!) and to top it our leading pair; Shrieky voiced (richter scale 8) Ms sweet n sexy Nikki, push up bras, spare ribs, projecting the new age lil diva with her dont give a damn, I quit attitude and clothes sense (or rather the lack of it) but when it comes to the actual act, feels oh so mushy, emotional and pained post doing it..and finally our Gur Neil..what can one say...Yash Uncle and the Chopras have perhaps been benevolence personified and given him his last chance at glory, but hey, one cant just hope to cant get hot and heavy with rouge, powder, fake blue contacts...they dont work, at all...plus the character itself; wanting to do as many girls in 21 days and having his dada approval coz he admits that hes miserable after marriage...how far can one hope to carry this off!!!
So folks, if you have seen the movie then you know the drift, if not then buyer beware thats all I can say....a final afterthought just feel bad that the locales of beautiful Canada has been so diluted by the portrayal of its girls....I wonder what the Yashraj camp would have to comment on this.
