Well this was one of the worst dining experiences..food inspectors wher art thou??..the place is unhygienic..it stinks of fish..the service is outrageous..i mean there is just one waiter for the entire top floor and one helper...you hav to wait and wait and wait and then roll your eyes and wait and wait..and finally the food arrives..you wonder if the plates have been properly washed at all..we ordered a bangda fry and we asked the chap to just cut into pieces and you wont believe it, the chap takes the bangda to the centre table and takes out an old rusted scissors..he takes the food in his hands and deftly cuts the fish with the scissors and serves it..the crab gravy was served minus any apparatus to break the shell..all the fish gravies were too watery and too spicy and u get the same gravy no matter what kind of a fish curry u order, ..we ordered some mutton once which was good asnd to give credit all the fish fry items were very good..crumb fried..prawns were also good..but you know they were all so overpriced..i have gone there 3-4 times(because my husband likes the simple thalis and fish fry)and every time I have had the son kadi which was very good...try out the small pooris they have and u could ask for the pooris instead of the roti if u r ordering a thali..overall a very mediocre eating experience.
