Assalam o Alaikum!
It is one of the first attempt of writing any play by Bushra Ansari.She is a marvellous lady!She is best comedian, actress, singer, anchor and now writer.sometimes I wonder how much talent she has and yet to explore.
It is a long play(PTV has created a trend of making 90 minutes long play) based on the marriage at older age.
story revolves around a widow(bushra ansari) running a beautyparlour business.she has a daughter happily married.She has one grand daughter.bushra ansari was living alone.one day her cousin arrived.he was also alone and devorced.
he forced her to get marry to him to get rid of this loneliness both r having.she was convinced but her son-in-law refused to accept this.Later on he also accepted this marriage.But when bushra got pregnant he refused to accept this and took away his daughter and left the country leaving his wife alone backhome.Bushra’s daughter was also very angry on having a step sibling at this age.
Bushra lost her husband(first) at very early age (below 20) and she brought up her daughter alone.But at the old age nobody realised that she also need a companion to share and live.
It is a bitter reality of our society although Islam allowed women and Men to get marry at older age but society has made its own rights and wrongs.Anyway this issue was discussed first time in tv play of pakistan.is a best play and men of our society should watch this play.
