I remember I literally got goosebumps while watching’Neerja’ movie promo on one of the YouTube videos. I just felt numb after realizing that this was based on a true story and felt so stupid that how come we are not aware of her sacrifice. I had to watch this movie and trust me there was no disappointment despite the fact I had huge expectations with this film.
There is no better actress other than Sonam Kapoor who would have performed this role convincingly. She too in real life doesn’t mince with her words when taking on the world without caring about the consequences. I never ever thought that Sonam Kapoor would make me cry in a movie and she eventually did. The background music was pretty thrilling that kept you on on your toes.
The stage is set for you and you should watch this movie to go through the emotional ride that will cleanse your soul. I won’t mention the story as every one knows about it. I will just tell you that this movie will remain in your memory for a long time. This movie is an inspiration for every woman out there that you don’t need to have huge muscles like men or carry a gun to show your courage It is that brave heart who could have run away from the situation but didn’t and that comes from within. When the s*t hits the fan some guys run and some guys stay and those who stay are the people with courage and integrity which Neerja Bhanot was and superbly portrayed by Sonam Kapoor.
