Neerja is not just a movie to be watched, but a spirited tale to be felt and be kept alive forever in our hearts. Definitely a must watch.
This movie is a biopic, based on Neerja Bhanot. she became the youngest recipient of India’s highest peacetime military award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra.
A realistic attempt to bring the remarkable story of Neerja Bhanot andher courage with such sincerity and realism is commendable. Shabana Azmi and Yogendra Tiku were extraordinary in their respective performances.
But something is weak point of this movie. Though the movie goes at a decent pace, but the scenes of actual evacuations seemed abrupt.
