Today, I was trying for a ticket, Mumbai to Hyderabad for Sun, 11 Nov, 2012, more than 12 days in advance. The ticket is priced at Rs.2999, i.e. 3K flat. Normal days, the fare is around Rs.1000. Neeta is looking for a change to loot passengers. They call this as ’Dynamic Fare Structure’, looking at the demand of the day.
This is usual practice for all the private bus operators, I had seen in the Mumbai - Hyderabad route. None of the operators is exceptional. There is no regulator and no ethics or rules for the fare. How to deal with such operators ???
