I’ve been using Net4 for Domain registration since 2001 and found them to be a highly professional company. They were one of the 1st people doing this. Now, they are the ONLY ones with a data center in Kolkata.
Their stuff is completely online, all their staff do when I go to give payment is take the no. at the back of the cheque.
However the site is a bit irritating, though otherwise very well designed, that it tries to get whether the domain is available on or not ON THE SAME PAGE without a refresh - i.e.with Ajax. So - they DO have progress in them, just a little badly executed, that’s all.
However I have taken HOSTING from them once and that experience was not so good- it was expensive, I got charged for MySQL which is FREE! And their tech support staff was completely useless- the girl simply told me - "I can’t help you any more Sir"!
But anyway, they are trying something which is Difficult in India, dealing with power cuts, etc., so they need to be lauded, and paid, for their efforts. So everybody - go get a domain from them.
