Have twin babies, born premature at 32 weeks hence the recommendation from the pediatrician at Motherhood Hospital, Sahakarnagar. was to have retinopathy(ROP) done for them. Dr Manjunath was the recommended ophthalmologist.
He has the most inconvenient visiting hours at Motherhood Sahakarnagar between 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the night. makes me think, is it more convenient for the patients or for the doctor? The babies have a specified feeding time and such a long procedure during their feeding time is not something which they enjoy. When I took up this matter with the Dr. He mentioned that I should be thankful to him that he is doing this service..
We were recommended to get ROP done again and this time at the same doctor’s clinic Netra Eye Hospital at Sanjaynagar. The idea of ROP once again was a dread for the whole family on top of that we had to take the kids to a new hospital not known to us. We did set up an appointment with the Dr. Manjunath, on reaching the clinic at the specified date and time we were told that the Dr. forgot about the appointment and if we could wait for three hours.
Not sure how a pediatric ophthalmologist can be so insensitive to requirements of babies.
Dont recommend Dr Manjunath to other parents.
