Then browser reads the main files as indicated by the server and displays it.

’’Netscape’’ , to tell you the truth this was the first browser I used to browse the net when I came to the net world some 2-3 years ago.
The browser’s version at that time was 4.5 and the cool gif added to the toolbar really made it attractive.But one that looks good outside has something bad inside, so is what I found out in my journey.
Netscape on it’s whole is a great browser.It is developed by Netscape Company and it is distributed for free.The latest version can be downloaded from Netscape.com.

The Pros and Cons of the Browser

Pros:
1)Netscape is a free browser.
2)Disk space used it quite low
3)Comes bundled with lots of goodies.
3-1) Composer : Netscape composer is a great utility, it helps you compose letters and web pages at a great ease.Everything is quite nicely arranged and it is a easy job to create letters and web pages.
3-2) Mail : Netscape comes with Mail Client, which helps you check your mail and compose mails too.Now isn’t that great.Mail with browser.It’s works and looks something similar to Outlook but performance well.
So now no more two three windows.Everything within a browser itself.
3-3) Net2Phone, Winamp - Distance Call, Music Player...Everything is there with Netscape, these all things make netscape a must check out.
BUT WAIT...PROS IS FOLLOWED BY CONS...
Cons :
1)Consumes much of resources, and makes the PC slow.
2)Hangs after regular intervals.
3)Slow loading and new window opening
4)Many sites don’t look good on it.
5)Many more....
Really Netscape loads a slow speed and consumes much of resource of your disk thus making it slow.Many developers design their site as it looks on IE, as a great percentage of people browse with IE.
So you might not enjoy the best look of a web site on Netscape.

After the old looks of 4. version of Netscape browser, Netscape was back with the blasting and new improved 6. version of it’s browser.
Along with the same old cons that it carries these Browser are a worth check out.Really the improved skin that it wares and the great utilities of Sun Java along with lots of good this browser is worth check out.
But still these Netscape browsers are slow, and carry the cons along with every version and add pros to every version too.

Netscape surely is a great browser and worth check out.Really the version 6.1 is really cool, but you need to have a 128 MB RAM to get the best result.On my Machine of 64 MB RAM it is quite slow.
Surely go ahead and check it out, but keep the cons in mind.
