The weather is wet, snowing and oh, so very cold. Yet it is nice and interesting. For Indians this weather may be dull but then here the sun comes out everyday even though it does not heat up the temperature. I came to the US a week back with my husband.
He was coming on a business trip and I joined him so that I could spencd some time with my daughter and son in law. We had a harrowing time. Our Emirates flight was late by four hours so we missed the connecting flight to New York. We were put ona British Airways flight to London which, unfortunately was again delayed and we came to New York eight hours late minus our baggage which came three days later.
We had to buy al our clothes including thermals as it was freezing here. It was snowing and raining, cold and freezing. My husand came back from his Pittsburg visit and then we went to Jersey. It was windy and dull and cloudy but beautiful. We visited the business places where my husband’s US office was and it was a very interesting part. The offices are in such huge complexes that it is a marvel. From one of the windows we could see the Statue of Liberty standing right in the middle of the cold, dull and freezing sea.
I enjoyed the visit and it was grand.
