Its been a while since I posted a review and sitting here on Saturday I thought i’d post a quick review on the movie New York.
New York is based on a true story of what really happens post 9-11 in the US. The methods of interrogation, the "entrapment" traps by the f-b-i are for real. Its sad but true.
Apparently its said that Irfan Khan had been subject to interrogation by the US Authorities upon landing in NY for a movie shoot and so he had personally experienced the techniques and methods used.
I’d highly recommend this movie as a must watch. Amazing acting by John Abraham and Katrina Kaif. The movie keeps you awake ( unlike most hindi movies ) and it was nice to see a different kind of Hindi movie for once.
The best thing of the movie was that there were no songs breaking out in the middle of the plot. The ending is quite sad with Katrina getting shot by the fbi for no apparent reason. She was a true innocent victim. Watch it and you’ll enjoy every moment and like I said its something quite different. It’ll make you appreciate freedom for sure :)
