Katrina Kaif - is Gorgeous and Displays her depth in acting ; ........John Looks good and justifies his role and Neil looks a bit lacking depth in acting.........Well..... Kabir Khan has made his second movie after Kabul Express and he has come out with flying colours. Kabul Express looked like a well made documentary. New York looks to be a decently made movie..
The Theme. the theme is based on the after math of 9/11 and its aftereffects on the Muslim Population. Not many people must have realised that all the characters in movie are muslims. The director has shown that different people react to an event in different ways.
Irfan Khan, plays the role of an FBI agent trying to get behind a terrorist attack plan being hatched in New York, and as usual he is brilliant. His acting is flawless, effortless and can express many things in one go.....Katrina Kaif has got a faily decent role after running around Trees and Pyramids with Akshay Kumar and she looks just fabulous [ as ever]. Her acting and diction has matured and she does the serious part of her role in the second half like a true professional. Her dialogue delivery and facial expressions are really good and worth watching.......... John Abraham has done justice to the role, acted effortlessly and he too is maturing as an actor..
Neil Nitin was a bit of dissapointment after watching his brilliant performance in Johny Gaddar. He has acted fairly well but mostly in one dimension. He needs to do a lot to improve his acting........Cinematography was brilliant..........Kabir Khan. Needs to go more deep into creating situations and gettting complex expressions from his actors. The movie is spent mostly between the three four actors whereas he should have shown the reactions of the outside world. That connect between the main actors and the outside world was missing. Issues of Love and dejection etc were depicted in a rather straight forward manner.Overall its a well made movie and worth seeing at least once.
