I’m a person who like to read and watch news on mobile phone rather than television. So I’ve tried so many apps that is for news specially. NewsDog is one of them. My initial experience with this app was too bad. There are a lots of reason why I hate this application, here are some of them:
1 - Fist of all, it is damn slow. It take ages to load news even on super fast internet connection.
2 - User interface of the app, too bad. It’s copied from UC News. User interface is bad because it lags a lot. Pages does not scroll properly.
3 - I requires unnecessary permission to run. Place a shortcut on home screen automatically. I don’t understand why a news application require permission for phone calls, contacts & media access.
4 - Their scheme for earning points or money is totally waste of time. They are making fool to it’s users. Frankly speaking they are disloyal towards it’s users.
5 - The quality of news or the quality of content in the app is extremely bad. I really don’t like it. The app is full of inappropriate contents which does not meet with the standard of most people.
6 - The publishers/bloggers are unknown. I mean, I haven’t heard of them. I just can’t trust on their writings/news. In short, news are not trustworthy.
I barely used it for two days and uninstalled.
