This film revolves around the Election System, how it works and what is main loopholes in that system.
Newton is a story of Nutan Kumar as Newton(Rajkumar Rao) lived in Chattisgarh.
He did MSC in physics and join government job as a clerk.
He is firm at his own principles so even he will get lots of money from girl side marriage, he will refuse to marry because that girl is under age of 18.
He wants to become a good citizen and we have self-proud for being honest.
Loksabha elections are about to start and in the region of Naxalites in Dandakarany, Newton is appointed as a Presiding officer.
Loknath(Raghuveer Yadav) and Malako(Anjali Patil) are his colleagues and Atmasingh(Pankaj Tripathi) is appointed as newtons bodyguard.
Only 76 voters are there to vote and what is the role of government employees, how political parties behave, how police and media take advantage of the election all these things got discussed in the film.
Finally, In Newton and Atmasingh, a discussion started about the System and a heartbroken yet introspective truth revealed and movie ends.
Director deserves full credit that how tactfully he handle this subject.
Scenes between Newton and Atmasingh is funny yet heart touching.
Rajkumar Rao played newtons mentality, his devotion, his persistence very great.
Raghuvir Yadav played Loknath too good, man, who is about to retire seen their mentality.
Anjali Patil who wins national award did her work good.
Pankaj Tripathi and Sanjay Mishra are wonderful.
Music of the film is done by Naren Chandawarkar and Benedict Tailor is good.
"Chal Tu Apana Kam Kar" this song is written by Irshad Kamil and Amit Trivedi give music only on Guitar are outstanding.
Cinematography and background music these two are strongest sides of the film.
