One should really make it a point to visit Neyyar Wild Life Santuary which is situated around 35 km from Trivandrum, capital City of Kerala.The highlight is the Lion Safari where you can see Lions in their Natural Environment.
You can see them very close in the safety of the Vehicle.The kids and adults will surely enjoy this ride. We felt very excited on seeing the King of Jungle as close as around 2ft.Also there is a very old watch tower which gives a good view of the surroundings.Then there is the crocodile park.
There is kids amusement park also.You can enjoy a boat ride too here.The safari is closed on Mondays , but workds on all other days from 9 am.It is aorund 1 and a half hours drive from Trivandrum. You can also enjoy the peaceful and beautiful atmosphere of the dam and its surroundings. This is really a good place for Tourists and everyone can enjoy it for sure.We had made an one day trip from Trivandrum and came back in the evening last vaccation. One can never forget the beautiful scenes and spending time in the wild even today.
