I was really drawn to Nicobar because of their clean, minimal designs and the whole premium vibe they project online. I finally gave in and ordered a kurta and a tote bag — but sadly, it didn’t live up to the expectations at all. The kurta looked lovely in pictures, but in person, the fabric felt quite flimsy for the price. The stitching was uneven in places, and it looked like it would barely last a season. The tote bag was even more disappointing — the material felt plasticky and not at all worth the high price tag. Even customer service wasn’t helpful when I asked for an exchange. For a brand that markets itself as sustainable and premium, the overall experience felt more like style over substance. Honestly, I wanted to love it, but I doubt I’ll be shopping from them again.
