I joined Niit in Delhi. This story goes back to the year 1995. When I reached there I asked all details about the course etc. AFter all the discussion the lady sitting at the reception told me that first they take a test and if I fail to clear that they would;nt allow me to join NIIT. That test was itself a bullshit and honestly I had attempted around 50% of the questions only. Later after half an hour I got to know that I had scored 85% marks.
Then I made the biggest mistake of my life by joining NIIT. The computers, the library, co-ordinators, machine rooms everything was lousy. In spite of all that it all went smooth upto the end of second session which they would call SMQ. Another mistake they do is they appoint a few students from the senior batches to help younger fellows in case they come across any problems in machine rooms. On the day of our practicals one such called machine room co-ordinator, by mistake, deleted all my data from the machine. I was upset at that and I asked the co-ordinator to give me some time to get back the project as I had a backup of that stuff. He did;nt bother and just asked me a few questions and finally awarded me with 86%. On ISAS they had told us around ten times for the ISAS presentation, we all students would get prepared and go to the centre and then would come to know that they had postponed it again. I had my college examinations and my co-ordinator advised me not to take a break and he would help me to recover later whatever I miss during those classes. I trusted him and didnt take any break. Later on when I re-joined I was shocked when the same person refused to cover up for that loss. At that I went to the centre-head of the centre and she also blamed me for that only. Moreover they were getting rude day by day.
Finally I got one article published in one of the leading dailies for all this. After that the centrehead came to meet me and a few other senior fellows. They tried to lure me by giving some good job offers and were after me to get published another article in favour of them. I did;nt accept any offer and finally decided to quit NIIT.
Hey guys its true if anyone of you thinks that you can make a career out of it, stop and think first. These buggers are there to make money only. I totally agree with Never Invest In This (NIIT).
