It is an international business headquartered in Gurgaon, India. . NIIT is listed on the National Stock Exchange(NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) in India.
I have worked for NIIT for more than 9 months, I have worked for some other companies as well like IBM & Sapient which is similar to NIIT & worst I assume while NIIT is only a little better than Sapient. If you are from hardcore knowledge background you can survive well here. There are two kinda ppl here, either with 1-2 yrs old or 10-15 yrs old in an association. The middle-level organization is still not on their feet correctly. They are far at the back in business compared to RBS’s & Hewitt. Procurement data is deceptive and new recruitments are only a delusion as ppl won’t b required very soon.
citizens are really good at government here. Higher & Senior managers are good though. I must tell u if ur good at social politics you will stay alive. I also appreciate corporation politics & its part of the corporate culture but there is a lot of pestering here. decent pay enclose in NIIT at all levels. HR is similar to everywhere else. A work environment is better than counterparts like TCS, WIPRO or INFOSYS. NIIT doesn’t be familiar with good talent & treat people like equipment.
So if you enjoy babu like surroundings with technical sound information u can join this org, But if ur really looking for development, creativity, healthy life & smile of a big MNC then better explore IT business like Adobe, Google or Oracle(even IBM is slightly better) set to work.
