I got this around 1 year back. got it for around $540 with 256MB CF Card
I read many reviews from many sites and finally fell on to it (when there was a good deal) (price has comedown much)
i had to choose either Canon or Nikon !!
8x zoom.. that is one of the cool reason to go for this
so far I have taken more than 1000’s pics....
battery life.. if you use flash, it may not come long.....
but... for me.. I have taken 315 photos combined (without and with flash)
I wanted little big camera than the sleek ones ;)
so, if you are like one who wants a better zoom and good pics, you can really go for this camera !!
Recently I faced some vague problem.
when I switch off, lens wasnt coming to its normal position (it still was projecting outside). had to switch it on and off..
other than that, I love this camera. you can trust nikon :)
