I bought this camera for my partner as a Christmas gift. I would have sent it back but we missed the return deadline. My partner is a professional photographer and she wanted a simple point and shoot with some fun options. I thought I had found the perfect camera for her. The settings are great, lots of options. The depth of images is fantastic.
Now the bad news is the flash is on the top right side of the camera. The spot where you traditionally hold the camera and you inadvertently hold the flash down. We could get over the thought. She doesn’t use the flash often, but still. Camera design is important. The bigger issue is that it shuts down or freezes a lot! She told me one setting in particular will automatically freeze the camera every single time. Other time it decides it doesn’t want to take anymore pictures and completely shuts down. When it works, yay! When it doesn’t, well you know. On the other hand I bought my step-daughter a Cannon and that thing just keeps going and going. Like all of our other Cannons.
