Hi folks its ash here.OfcourSe the nikon d40 is a decent camera for capturing pics.The picture quality is amazing.i would not say it is the best because there are better cameras in the market.The build quality is one of the best among the cameras that exists in the market.Go for the camera if u want to take best pics.
