Purchased this item as a "from me to me" Xmas gift 7 years ago and still love the quality of photos and ease of use. The battery and charger that came with it are still in use and have never failed me. I purchased an additional battery but have rarely used it. It has taken just about every memory card I’ve fed to it without any errors or trouble transferring data from it. It has made it hard to upgrade since this was supposed to be my "starter" DSLR but I have actually made money with the quality of photos that this camera produces and will probably use it till the wheels fall off or pass it on to my kid as her "starter DSLR" along with the filters and lenses.
