The Nikon D50 is a great camera for everyone, from the amateur photographer to the most experienced. I initially bought this camera at the suggestion of a salesperson and have not been disappointed with the purchase at all. In the beginning I only used the camera for personal use but have since used it for work and for images that I am now selling on a stock photography website.
Do not feel intimidated by its professional look, even the least experienced photographer can get a great picture or three from this dandy piece of equipment. With the upgrades coming out quite often you can easily find this camera for a little less than $500.
This camera is available at brick and mortar stores located nationwide including Best Buy and Nebraska Furniture Mart and can be found online by doing a search for the product. You don’t have to be a professional to use this camera but with a little work some of your photos will come out looking as if you were. Nikon is the maker of my first SLR digital camera and certainly will be the maker of my next one as well. I have included a photo of my cat that was taken with the Nikon D50.
