Bought this last year. Has been ages since it launched and is still doing well in its price segment.
D5300 is a 24 MP APSC dslr which comes with one of the most versatile lenses in the world; the 18-55 VR | which is even more compact than before, making your entire setup really non intimidating.
60fps 1080p is a bonus for film makers although no log or flat picture profile exists, none is expected in this price segment.
Overall a fairly good buy.
