This is the first time I’ve been on such a platform and giving a review.But such had been my experience with Nimbus Hyundai that I don’t want people to suffer the same and be alert before they visit Nimbus for any kinda of services.


First and foremost they will overcharge you for anything they work on, their charges are always 30-40% higher than their estimates.


I recently had a car accident wherein I damaged the right side headlight of my Santro Xing on 14th September, I took my car to Nimbus Hyundai Branch in sec-5 on 15th, wherein the works manager Mr Kishore inspected the car and told me that I would get my car by Friday afternoon and gave me an estimate of aroundRS. 3500/-which I would need to give from my pocket and I was fine with that.


Come Friday 18th and I didn’t get any updates from Nimbus, Even till Saturday afternoon nobody bothered to give me a call , so I rang them on Saturday afternoon and Mr Kishore didn’t have any update about my car after repeated follow-ups from my side at last he has has asked me to come at 4pm.


At 4pm, I went to Nimbus to collect the car, once I reached there , I was shocked to see them giving me a bill of 5000, I asked them for an explanation as amount crossed the estimation by around 43% and no one even bothered to inform me while doing so, I was told to wait for Kishore (good for nothing) to give me an explanation and he was nowhere to be found. I told these guys that why was I not informed when this extra work was being done and when they realized that I was furious over the issue some other person came an offered me discount of 500 Rs. which after lots of argument was settled for RS 4000 payment, I wonder if its their regular practice to earn money this way by overcharging the customer without informing them and then giving them discount.


After all this hustle bustle when I finally sat in my car and planned to take off from there came another jolt , I was not able to change the gears as the clutch was not working , when I confronted with these people that I’m not able to drive the car , they clearly said that it was because I am not driving the car properly on which I asked them to get their driver to run the car and their driver too was not able to drive it , on which they arrogantly told me that this was the issue beforehand , I tried explaining them that had this been an prior issue , how was I able to drive it properly to their showroom and if there was a problem why was that not diagnosed when the car was being checked before taking the handover from me and then later when they would have drove it to whatever place they did for repair work. It was a clear issue of mishandling to which they asked me to take the car to their service station , when we took the car there with the driver who drove the car using all his energy for changing gears and somehow we reached the service station. I was told there that clutch gears are not working and might be the clutch plate broke off and I need to get all these changed which would cost another 6000 to me, when I confronted to them that I have spent RS 8000/- in their service station in July end only and which included change of cable clutch wires as I had reported a problem and I was told that I can run the car for another 6-7 months without any issue and there is no need to change the entire system.


For two days I kept running between their admin and service centre , but right from GM to Works manager were not accessible and when they were , their arrogant tone spoke of the attitude they have for their customers.


I gave the car in a running condition to these people but the people in nimbus mishandled the car so much that it just tore off and the expense which I would have incurred after months , I had to bear now.


So frustrated I was to see the response of the people there and shuffling between their showroom and service centre which are at quite a distance that I didn’t knew what to do, and then I saw the carnation workcentre next to it and as the car was not in a situation I could drive , I asked the nimbus people if they could at least drive my car inside carnation centre, which surprisingly they did , I went up to them and they gave me estimate of 4500 for the same work and promised me delivery of the car in the evening by 7:30 pm. The moment I stepped out of it and reached home , I received a sms from carnation giving me updates on the time when I can pick my car and later a call at 5:30pm from their team informing that my car is ready one hour before the promised time and I can pick up at 6:30pm , and finally I got my car back in shape with genuine Hyundai parts and A1 service , customer satisfaction and just 3000 Rs much below the estimate.


Its not the money involved but the service and attitude of the people, I am thankful to the indifferent staff of Nimbus without which I would have never experienced the services at carnation and what a fool these people at Nimbus have been making of me all this while with their third class services and overcharges.
