Although off to a slow start, this system as so much potential to be amazing! Of course Zelda is breath-taking and shows off the power of the system as both a handheld and a home console. The online shop is stuffed with indie games and some 1990’s favorites from SNK - no Virtual Console yet, but that should appear sometime this fall - and I hope I don’t have to buy my favorites all over again for a third time ( first on Wii, then on Wii U) ! The dock is sturdy and holds the cables well, but there have been reports of the plastic dock scratching the plastic screen - so get a good screen protector while you are at it. USB-C cables are the future, so I’m glad they included that for charging - weird that the charging port is at the bottom of the unit, but I suppose they needed that for the dock. Joycons are cool to use, but I rarely take them off the console - I prefer the Pro controller when the system is hooked up to the TV. Although we have played the RMX racing game with just the joycons and the Switch propped on the table. Can’t wait for more big games!
