We went to Vaishnovidevi , Jammu Kashmir trip via Delhi through Nirmala travels on 3rd of Oct. We where satisfied with food and transportation though it was tedious to travel from phahalgaum to jammu (12 hrs journey )which was unavoidable. Accommodation was good in Katra and Srinagar but not up to the standard in pahalgam being an hill station they could have provided heaters.
Which was not there of course for the package trips we should be reimbursed for some inconveniences like toilets and break fast.friendly behavior of tour operators and cooks is appreciated tour operators are jayprakash and gokuldas shenoy draw backs 1, purchase of dryfruits and clothes was strictly under the influence of van drivers which colud have been avoided..there was no bargaining in those shops..best place of purchase wasr at katra or at jammu . 2 , assertain there is operational rope way at gulmarg, before taking the tourist at that spot on our visit the rope way was not functioning the result is loss of one day 3, sonamarg is a place of visit which was not there in the package.
We went there by our own expense. TOTALY THE TRIP WAS WORTH FOR THE PRICE .as we were fully satisfied with the food as we were not familiar with the north indian food .which nirmala travels avoided and provided fully south Indian foo d with soups and payasams on some days. thanks a lot nirmalatravels.
