Dispute in claim settlement

I got my daughter  admitted on 7/10/2015 at Max hospital Noida. At the time of admission I had taken double room as per the policy  but since the other sharing patient was not cooperating and created nuisance and due to non availability of any other double sharing room at that time, I was compelled to take a single room at Max Hospital Noida.


Double sharing room rent being Rs 5200 per day for two days= 5200*2=Rs10500


Single room rent being 6900 per day for two days 6900*2= Rs 13, 800


The amount Sanctioned by Max Bupa was Rs 3000 per day= 3000*2=Rs 6000.


I called the call center on 9th October 2015 seeking clarification on disparity in sanctioning the room rent when I am eligible for double sharing room rent?( Because you have collected hefty premium assuring that you will be giving comfort of a double sharing room) I told your agents  I was willing to pay the difference amount between Double sharing room and Single room .


I should have been sanctioned as per Double sharing room rent plan.The answers given by your customer representative’s are illogical.


a) If I had continued to stay with double sharing room then the amount sanctioned  would be Rs 10500,


b) Since, I shifted to single room I will be paid Rs 3000 per day 3000*2= Rs 6000 only(Please explain the logic behind this?)


c) How can I be compelled to stay in any hospital if the sharing room partner is creating nuisance?


d) Is it not violation of Human Rights? If your Insurance company is compelling me to stay in double sharing room against my wish, liberty, freedom?


e) What should be done if there were no Double sharing bed at the time of admission?


I am not satisfied with the answers given by your customer agents. If I do not receive any satisfactory   reply from your side with in 5 working  days, I will be compelled to approach the Consumer forum/Court .
