Biryani? Niyaaz it is!
Niyaaz is a reputed brand in catering in Goa and well known for its sumptuous Biryanis!
Originally from Belgaum, they opened their restaurant in Goa, in Panjim a couple of years back. For reasons unknown to me, it was closed down and moved to another place at Merces junction.
If you are in Panjim, head towards Margao on Panjim-Margao Highway, travel for some 2-3 kms and you would come across a 4-cross road junction, the hotel is right there in a red color building.
This place is right next to a highway, so it’s a hopeless situation for Parking!
Place is simple, as they are mostly into parcel service, nevertheless its nice.
How good is Food?The place is known for their Biryani - so people don’t really ask for menu. But yet, you can try Chicken Lollipop, Butter Chicken, Kheema and all sorts of Chicken, Mutton dishes.
They also serve fruit salads and dont miss their Gajar ki kheer /(halwa) - its the best!
The place is usually famous for parcel service, however has a full time restaurant too.
Service - nothing in particular to comment - it’s no pampering, pay up and take your stuff, simple!
Somewhat costly, but the food is nice. Biryani would cost you about 250! They are also known for taking bulk orders and offers Biryanis at per KG rates.
Though Goa is known for fish, if you are chicken/meat lover and fancy eating some Biryani - do visit them!
