I taught that this movie was superb. The dialoges were delivered with such reality which made for an excellent viewing. I never knew Anil Kapoor to be much of a comedian but I must say he was hillarious. The movie is about three friends:
Salman-Lady killer that can have any woman at his beck and call and can talk his way out of any situation. Married to Esha
Anil-devoted husband with a wife thats constantly suspicious of him. Married to Lara
Fardeen-Just a poor reporter who gets caught up in trying to cover up for his employer and friend Anil. Married to Celina
Bipasha-The temptress and trouble maker.
Its a light hearted comedy with very good punch lines about a guy tempted to taste the forbidden fruit as such (being Bipasha) and given the character portrayal of Anil in movie its brilliant, with two friends Salman urging him on and Fardeen the ever sensible one. One lie leads to another and another until theres a circle of lies when the wivies get involved and no way that they can be honest without being served divorce papers. The chain of events to cover up the lies are brilliant a very well written script followed by excellent acting. The high light of the movie by far has to be the climax with all three men hanging onto the edge of a mountain begging for forgiveness. It was nice seeing Bipasha in a role another than a Jism, Rhakth, etc however although this role was that of a sex goddess it wasn’t played excellent.
Overall a must watch!
