No one killed Jessica deserves applause & kudos not bcoz its based on d most important, popular and most talked about trial of d decade....not bcoz it stars 2 of d finest actresses operation on d scene...
Not bcoz it has an amazing musical score 2 complement d visuals but bcoz its a film made with all heart & it manages 2 shake and stir u with a narrative style which takes d viewer right in 2 d drawing room of Lal family.
The slimy police stations of Dilli & the courtroom wich was responsible for handing out d most lopsided verdict in recent history....
Coming 2 d performances....Vidya Balan as d geeky Sabrina Lal displays such restraint in her performance that u r left numb at d end of it....Rani Mukherjee as Meera Gaity gives 1 helluva performance and literally eats up d screen whenever she is there which is not that much...& among d rest...
VJ Neil and Myra manage 2 grip u with their individual performances respectively...My only complain....D Lal family seems 2 have been made a caricature of...Jessica’s parents have been made 2 overact....and so does Monu’s mother...It just disturbs d mood setup by d film....Lastly..d technical aspects...
I have just 1 word 2 describe d music-SUPERLATIVE....Amit Trivedi..in charge of d soundtrack & BGM creates magic and d nation’s capital comes alive through d lens of Anay Goswami.....& d editing by Aarti Bajaj is pretty crisp........
