There was a time when Nokia was known for its tough and durable products and its customer service was exceptional, but that is not the case now. Here is the complaint below.
I purchased Nokia 105 from Raju Traders at Manimajra Chandigarh. It worked well for 2 months, but later it stopped reading the SIM cards.
I visited the seller one week ago to get this checked, they checked it and asked me to visit the service centre at sector 22c SCO 2473, Chandigarh. There I met with Mr Raman who told me that they do not repair feature phones and asked me to go back to the seller to get it replaced.
When I called Nokia customer care the lady named as Priyanka picked up the call and told me that this device canbe replaced at the point of sale but I must need to return it with the box.
I told her that I did not hit in the box but I have the invoice but she kept telling me that box is mandatory however she was not able to tell me under which terms and condition I had to stay in the box then she transferred my call to her senior, Sher Khan who repeated the same thing and he was quite rude even.
Finally I visited the retailer, Raju Traders, and aske them to get the device replaced. They took the device and asked me to come back after a week, but did not give me any receipt or job sheet. They even took my original bill. When I asked for the job number/sheet, the owner of store, gave me the visiting card by telling that if you lose this visiting card, forget your phone. He was really truculent.
