The Nokia 1100 is one of the cheapest mobile phones from Nokia. The cost is around 3200 Rs in Kerala. The prize varies in different states. Anyway the prize wont be greater than 3300 Rs.
The features of the Phone include :
KEYPAD : The keypad of the phone is good. It makes the phone free of dust and other stuffs. There is no gap for any dust or other things to enter the phone. The keys are soft and easy to use.
EASE OF USE : One of the main feature is that the menus can be easily navigated. Even a novice user can learn the features of the phone easily.
WIDER SCREEN : The phone has got a wider screen area. This is one thing that makes the phone attractive.
BATTERY : The most catching feature of the phone is the battery life. Once fully charged the battery can last for around 3 - 4 days (average use) with recharging it.
COLORS : The phone is available in different colors. And you can even get some fancy covers with vibrant colors for the phone. This will give the phone a trendy look.
TORCH : It has got a torch light which has got a fairly nice light emission. You may be able to see anything in the dark very near to you.
OTHERS : The phone has an inbiult monophonic composer. It supports monophonic ringtones, screen savers etc. The speaker is good.
LACKS : the phone lacks the following features
NO GPRS FACILITY : This is needed to get connected to the Internet.
MONOPHONIC : The phone supports only monophonic ringtones. Well it is nice if u can get a polyphonic phone.
NO COLOR DISPLAY : The phone lacks color display.
OVERALL : The phone is ok. But I would like to quote one more thing. If u can spend 300 Rs more then u can get a 1108 from Nokia. It has got a nice display than 1100. The rest of the features is the same.
Before leaving :::: my phone had Software complaint, so I sold it. Well may be I was a little unlucky. No one ever reported a Software complaint before about 1100.
