I tend to disagree with Nokia’s catch line ’’MADE FOR INDIA’’. Well, 1100 was my cell phone a while back. I am presently in Kuwait, and I found the phone so useful finally I had to send it to India...for my dad....I miss my 1100 very much...Its a true value for money! But I still wonder why the price of the Nokia 1100 is going down steadily? Is it a marketing strategy from Nokia? Anyway its Battery Life is amazing and no phone reaches that level...! After having Nokia 1100, I bought a Samsung X-SGH 100. The Battery has to be charged every two days! Actually I used to charge my Nokia 1100 once in four days, that too....out of shear disbelief about the battery...The battery still used to be charged.
I also found that composing ringtones is very easy. Suppose you want to have a new ringtone...you don’t have to download it, you can get the keypress key strokes from https://digitalnuts.com. Its easy, and you can have the whackiest of ringtones absolutely free.
The alarm is also pretty good...it makes sure that you are awake! With the snooze it acts friendly too...with the user! The menu as well as the navigation is very well layed out, and the best think is the size of the screen, again scoring ahead of 2100. 2100 has a smaller screen. And Nokia 1100 which comes in black is a sleek and good looking gadget! Its very good for personal use as well as the best present you can gift some one.
