I am using a NOKIA **1110 mobile handset** (IMEI No. **357971005758462**) for one and half years. Recently I encountered a problem with my handset. The outgoing voice from this handset cannot be heard by the call receiver on the other side i.e. **“NO OUTGOING AUDIO”**.
I went to the following Service Centre on 18 January 2008:
Tele Solutions
Eternity Building, DN1, Sector-V
SaltLake, Kolkata – 700091
India
Ph – +9133 40040913, +9133 40040911
While handing over the handset to the Service Centre they told that if no parts is changed then they will charge Rs. 250/- + 12.2% Service Charges and there will be **one month warranty on the specific problem for which it has been serviced**. But, when they delivered the handset after repairing they charged the above mentioned amount and in the delivery document they kept a note that **no warranty will be provided on the service given** (i.e. Contradicting the terms that they told at the time of taking the service order) which was not conveyed verbally at the time of delivery.
Now, within 20 days of service **the same problem has recurred**. For which when I approached the service centre they told as they have written in the delivery note, they will not provide any warranty on service.
Now, my question is
i) **Should we expect such service quality from NOKIA CARE**?
ii) **Should we purchase NOKIA mobile any more which usually gets defective just after initial warranty period**?
*I think I should circulate this event in as much as web sites possible, so that Customers think twice before going for a NOKIA mobile. I will upload the issue in all leading websites.*
