Recently my wife’s mobile started giving trouble, so I gave my Nokia 1680 mobile the one I bought sometime back and had also written a review about it here.
Initially I thought I will service it and use her mobile as my usage is very minimal, I only use it to receive calls and send few SMS. Thats all. But I had got so much used to my new mobile that I had given her. So thought I will buy a new one for myself.
Initially I thought I will go with the one I bought previously , but then my wife said why go for the same. So started looking for a model which was decent in looks and cheap.
Went and bought Nokia 2330 Classic. What does it have? Almost all basic features that you expect from mobile phone these days and bluetooth.

12 MB memory
FM radio with recording
Voice recorder
VGA Camera.
calendar/calculator/ etc
GPRS
Bluetooth
The camera is a bit disappointing and pictures come out a shade darker. What attracted me was the design, simple and neat. You could type in the SMS by hold it in just one palm, keys are well placed, making typing easier.
But it has a few disadvantages.
The keys back light is look dim and makes it a bit harder on low light. Also visibility of keys comes down in direct sunlight and when its too glare.
The screen looks too dull, images show up too dark, not the kind of brightness that was there in my old mobile Nokia 1680
No card or USB slot, but that was expected keeping the low price.
Heating problem. The set heats up even after 5-10 mins of talking and after 1/2 of recharging. Didnt have this issue with 1680. 1680 used to heat up a bit but only after long talk.
Over all a decent mobile phone for people who arent looking for too many features and want a basic phone to make a receive calls.
