Well I got my new Nokia 3200 this Jan, earlier I was using Nokia 3530. All these models are entry level models and Great value for money.
This phone has a Built in camera, which is the 7250 camera, the same camera which is a real good, but expert users can have better photographs but still am intermediate, the same shot my friend took and I took are completely different and his shot was amazing. The better you hold your phone will result a better image.
The display, good colour display, but not that much clarity as of 7250, having a inbuilt 7250 camera, the images taken by this phone are not very clear, but the same when transferred to Nokia 3650 via IRDA, the image is just Great. The images are even better when transferred to PC, good photo prints can be taken too.
The phone have a big Lousy keypad, Texting can be done very fast, it’s very easy to text with this phone. The slide in covers are jus waste as my transparent body is jus getting starched soon, the original is costlier too and not available anywhere.
The phone has a inbuilt voice recorder, which can record conversations of 1min each. One more thing is am able to record phone conversations too with this gr8 tool.
The Radio, Real great one, it even tunes into my TV ( I know that all FM tuner will tune to TV, but the main thing is, he we can set the frequency digitally ), the other advantage is that when there is an incoming call, we can know it easily as the FM is automatically paused.
Communication is faster, It connects with an DKU-5 cable or a IRDA. IRDA is a bit slow , but DKU is very fast, Synchronization is too good with Data suite. My recommendation is not to buy IRDA for this phone, cable is great.
SMS - Sending SMS is bit slow, cause I checked the same network, same sim card with Nokia 2100, it’s pretty fast, Nokia 3200 is very slow is sending SMS compared to Nokia 2100
GPRS, this has the latest technology EDGE, but browsing on GPRS is very slow compared to Nokia 3650 on the same sim, same network, same place.
The biggest drawback is that it has jus 1MB internal memory, I have to delete all my preloaded games and applications in order to gain more memory.
The standby time is pretty good, even the talk time is great too. But opening the panels are not as easy as other NOKIA phones.
